The North Carolina State Aquarium at Fort Fisher is currently working on an expansion to triple its size! The new aquarium will feature more displays with more types of marine life, both freshwater and saltwater.

P.S...If your vacation plans usually include a visit to the aquarium, we thought you might like to know that the aquarium will be closed during the renovation until sometime in 2002.
